Hi everyone!
While completing this class, I have a newfound appreciation for the power of website communication. Before taking this class, I viewed websites as a great way to communicate with students and parents at home. I have learned that there is so much more that can be done with classroom websites.
The teacher can post pictures, documents, lessons, and suggested links. Parents can be updated on work and upcoming events immediately. Students can also check their homework daily.
Websites offer a connection to the home that can be achieved without phone calls and scheduling appointments. When designing websites the possibilities are truly endless.
I have truly enjoyed learning about building websites- although using technology can be challenging and bewildering at times. The benefits truly outweigh the difficulties.
